Man Robs Upper East Side Bank Twice in 2 Months, Police Say
The bank is located on East 88th Street between Park and Lexington avenues. Both robberies were successful, police said.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — The NYPD are searching for a man who robbed the same Upper East Side bank twice in two months, police told Patch.
The suspect first struck on April 10, police said. The man entered a Chase bank on East 88th Street between Park and Lexington avenues around 3:45 p.m. and approached a bank teller, police told Patch. He passed a note to the teller demanding money, police said. The teller complied and the man fled the bank in an unknown direction, police told Patch.
After laying low for a little more than a month the man revisited the bank on Friday. This time, the man struck in the morning, around 11:25 a.m., police said. The man repeated the same robbery routine and again made off with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.

The suspect (pictured above) is described as a bald man his his 40s standing six feet tall, police told Patch. During the most recent robbery he was seen wearing a white t-shirt and black backpack, police said.
