Alec Jain's lawsuit claims that he was letting Brianna Hallam stay in his apartment on East 75th Street near Central Park while she looked for a permanent living situation. Jain, 43, started lending Hallam the apartment in Sepetmeber 2016 but things quickly went south, the Daily News reported.
Hallam was served a notice to vacate the apartment by the end of November after Jain found out she was renting out the $3,795-a-month apartment on Airbnb, the Daily News reported. But it gets worse, according to Jain. In December he visited the apartment and found out most of his belongings had been cleared out, according to the report.

The lawsuit claims that Hallam is liable for $300,000 in damages, but Hallam and her lawyer claims that the allegations are completely false.
According to Hallam the apartment was given to her as compensation for working at Jain's financial services company, the now-defunct Apertu Global, the Daily News reported. A LinkedIn profile for Hallam lists her current profession as a "client partner" for the business.
