UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A man with a penchant for wearing Christmas tree skirts is wanted for tormenting a subway rider after stalking her from the Lexington Avenue-59th Street station onto a train car while holding an ice pick.
The 29-year-old woman said she first noticed the man smoking a cigarette near the turnstiles of the Lexington Avenue-59th Street station, police told Patch. The man followed the woman onto the train platform and eventually onto the same southbound N train, police said.
The man and women entered the N train at different cars, but the woman later noticed the man had followed her onto the same train car after leaving the station, police said. The woman exited the train at 42 Street-Times Square and the man holding the ice pick remained on the train, police said.
