Missing Dog Found on Upper East Side

The dog was found by police officers in on East 65th Street between 5th and Madison avenues.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A dog was picked up by police Tuesday while wandering the Upper East Side in search of its owner.

The dog — which appears to be of the Havanese breed — was located on East 65th Street between 5th and Madison avenues, police said. The dog was picked up just a block from Central Park.

The dog is in the safe hands of officers from the NYPD's 19th precinct. The precinct house is located at 153 E. 67th St. If you recognize this pooch, let the owner know it is safe and waiting for them at the precinct house.
