Person Hit By Train At Upper East Side Subway Station: MTA
The transit agency said that downtown-bound 6 trains were delayed after a person was hit by a train during Tuesday's morning commute.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A person was struck by a train during the morning commute early Tuesday, according to the MTA.
At about 7 a.m., a person was hit by a downtown 6 train at the 77 st. subway station, transit officials said.
Police officials told Patch that they had received an emergency call reporting that a person had jumped in front of a train, but preliminary reports state that a subsequent search has yet to discover the person.

Southbound 6 trains are delayed while emergency teams respond to someone who was struck by a train at 77 St.

According to the MTA, 6 trains are being delayed as emergency teams respond to the incident, with some running on the express tracks to Grand Central station.
In addition, downtown-bound 4/5 trains are also experiencing delays because they are sharing tracks with the rerouted 6 trains.
