Person Struck By Vehicle On Upper East Side, FDNY Says

The person was taken to the hospital after being hit on Third Avenue near East 73rd Street.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A person has been hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning on the Upper East Side, an FDNY spokeswoman told Patch.

The person — who's gender and identity were not confirmed — was taken to New York Presbyterian hospital after being hit on Third Avenue near East 73rd Street around 9:44 a.m., an FDNY spokeswoman said. The person's injuries are not life-threatening the spokeswoman told Patch.
