Person Struck By Vehicle On Upper East Side, FDNY Says
The person was struck around 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Madison Avenue and East 86th Street.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A person was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle Thursday morning on the Upper East Side.
The pedestrian, who has not been identified, was hit shortly after 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Madison Avenue and East 86th Street, an FDNY spokesman told Patch. The victim was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital with injuries, the FDNY spokesman said. The spokesman could not confirm the extent of the person's injuries.
An NYPD spokesman had no information on the collision.
