ROOSEVELT ISLAND, NY — As the world continues to constantly evolve, the Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation is asking local artists to sketch out what they envision the world looking like in coming years as part of its preparation for its upcoming Fall For Arts Festival.
Local artists are asked to submit a sketch of their design which will be considered for a live mural painting during the RIOC’s upcoming Fall For Arts Festival, which will take place Sept. 25. The 16th annual festival will include live music, food booths, arts and crafts workshops and the live mural painting.
Submissions for sketches are due on Friday and more information about how to submit a drawingcan be found here. The theme of the murals will be “The future through your eyes” and invites artists to share how they envision or hope to see the world continue to evolve socially, culturally, environmentally and economically.
