Trevon Murphy was indicted for stabbing a man in Stanley Isaacs Playground last July, officials said.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg indicted a man for attempted murder after a stabbing of a homeless man in an Upper East Side playground last year, according to officials.
The accused stabber, Trevon Murphy, was also indicted last year for two other stabbings of unhoused New Yorkers.
“Today’s indictment is the result of our steadfast commitment to track down every piece of evidence and bring charges in a third attack by the same defendant on unhoused New Yorkers," said Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. "Unhoused individuals deserve the same dignity and safety as anyone else in our city, and we will continue to thoroughly investigate and prosecute all three of these disturbing attacks.”
