Stalker Arrested On Upper East Side Had Weapons Cache In Greenpoint Home: Police
The man was arrested after showing up to his ex-girlfriend's workplace with a knife, police said.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Police discovered a cache of weapons — some real some fake — after searching the Brooklyn home of a man facing charges for stalking his ex-girlfriend at her Upper East Side workplace, an NYPD spokesman told Patch.
Charlie Sliwowski, 34, was already facing charges of stalking, resisting arrest, obstruction of governmental administration, criminal trespass, resisting arrest and criminal possession of a weapon when police found and AR-15 rifle and four imitation pistols at his Greenpoint home on Feb. 22, police said. Since the search police have tacked on seven more criminal weapons charges, an NYPD spokesman told Patch.
Sliwowski was arrested on Feb. 17 inside Bloomingdales on East 60th Street between Lexington and Third Avenues, police said. He showed up at the department store — the workplace of his ex-girlfriend — with a knife after harassing the woman on social media and through phone calls, police said.

The accused stalkers is due in court again on March 6, according to court records. He has been released on $10,000 bond for his stalking charges and $1,500 cash bail for the weapons charges stemming from Feb. 22, according to court records.
