Steakhouse Serving Asian Dishes Opens On Upper East Side: Report

Steaks are served alongside traditional dishes from Asian cuisines.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A steakhouse that also serves up a number of Asian dishes debuted Tuesday on the Upper East Side, the New York Times first reported.

Jade Sixty — a joint venture between restaurateurs Stratis Morfogen and Franco Moscato — opened its doors on East 60th Street between Park and Lexington avenues, the Times reported. The new restaurant serves up steaks in the American steakhouse style, but the other dishes come from Asian cuisines.

"There’s nothing Asian about the steaks," Morfogen told the Times. "But everything else is Asian."
