Upper East Side Crash: 3 Injured, 2 Critically, In Collision On Madison Avenue, FDNY Says

Three people were sent to New York Presbyterian hospital, two in critical condition, when an SUV crashed on an Upper East Side corner.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Three people were hospitalized, two with critical injuries, after a car crashed on a prestigious Upper East Side street corner, an FDNY spokesman told Patch.

Firefighters responded to the corner of Madison Avenue and East 64th Street shortly after 4:45 p.m. after a car smashed into a business on the street corner, an FDNY spokesman said. An employee of a luxury watch boutique on Madison Avenue, who did not give her name, told Patch that an SUV crashed into the Vacheron Constantin store.

Update: The SUV driver has been arrested and will face criminal charges.
