Upper East Side Celebrates National Night Out Against Crime

NYPD community affairs officers will be celebrating with community members Tuesday evening while teaching them best safety practices.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Instead of trying to avoid a run in with the cops, Upper East Siders will be partying with the police during Tuesday's celebration of National Night Out. During National Night Out, neighborhood residents can meet officers from the 19th precinct to learn best safety practices and enjoy free food and entertainment.

The event will be held at Carl Schurz Park from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
