Upper East Side Community Board Landmarks Committee to Meet Monday Night
The committee will weigh in on several job proposals in the Upper East Side Historic District.
UPPER EAST SIDE, NY -- The Landmarks Committee of Community Board 8 will meet Monday to discuss proposed renovation projects on historic buildings the Upper East Side.
The committee will rule on six projects, all within the Upper East Side Historic District, according to the meeting agenda:
- Application to legalize signage at 29 E. 73rd Street. Building constructed in 1871.
- Application for 74-711 special permit for retail use on the ground floor at 19 E. 72nd St. Building constructed in 1936-1937.
- Application to install retractable awning and signage at 133 E. 65th St. Building constructed in 1871-1872.
- Application to install air conditioner on the roof of 813 Madison Ave. Building constructed in 1881-1882
- Application for new windows and signage at 860 Madison Ave. Building constructed in 1924.
- Application to replace two windows at 20 E 64th St. Building constructed in 1878-1879.

The meeting will be open to the public and held at Marymount Manhattan College. The meeting will commence at 6:30 p.m.
