Upper East Side Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Kicks off the Holiday Season

Residents Enjoy Elaborate Thanksgiving Meal

The Upper East Side Nursing and Rehabilitation Center recently hosted a Thanksgiving Day celebration – welcoming residents, family members and volunteers to the festive gathering. Facility staff members prepared an elaborate Thanksgiving feast with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, sweet potato casserole and an assortment of vegetables. The Thanksgiving celebration wasn’t all about the food though, as residents enjoyed spending times with loved ones and friends they have made during their rehabilitation process.

In addition to the time spent with family and friends, locally renowned singing and dancing duo “The Louise Brothers” provided entertainment for the afternoon. The duo sang numerous holiday songs and showcased their stellar dance moves. The holiday music served as the perfect backdrop while residents decorated the facility’s Christmas tree.

The Upper East Side Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is gearing up for a busy holiday season filled with celebrations, activities and more time with family and friends.
