Upper East Side Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Participates in a Day of Giveaways during 3rd Avenue Street Fair

Local care center talks with community about state-of-the-art facility

The Upper East Side Nursing and Rehabilitation Center recently hosted an information booth about its five-star facility and services during the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce Community Benefit Fund’s 3rd Avenue Street Fair. Local residents and tourists were treated to an action-packed day of giveaways, movie screenings and unrivaled deals during the 39th annual street festival.

The Upper East Side staff connected with community members and discussing the daily recreational, therapeutic and rehabilitative programs the facility offers its senior citizen residents. Staff members seized the opportunity to inform fair-goers of the center’s dedication to a multifaceted rehabilitation journey focused on mind, body and spirit. The street-side conversations led to more than 30 scheduled tours of the state-of-the-art nursing and rehabilitation facility.

All community members who stopped by the Upper East Side’s information booth were provided with branded merchandise including tissue boxes, cups, mugs and ice packets. In addition, over 2,500 tote bags filled with health related items were given away to the public and could be seen along the city streets throughout the day.
