Upper East Side Poop Thrower Deemed Unfit For Trial: DA
The trial for a man accused of attacking two women with poop on the Upper East Side has been put on hold.
UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — The case against a man accused of shoving poop down a woman's pants and throwing and smearing poop on another woman stalled Wednesday when he was ruled unfit to stand trial.
Ekwan Hill, 42, was arrested in July at Brooklyn homeless shelter days after he allegedly attacked two women on the Upper East Side with feces. Hill has since been charged with forcible touching and assault.
Hill was ruled not fit for trial in accordance with Criminal Procedure Law 730, a spokeswoman from the District Attorney's office told Patch. Because Hill has already been indicted, the ruling means that his trial will be put on hold until he is deemed fit.

On June 27 Hill smeared feces on the face and chest of a 33-year-old woman on Park Avenue near East 91st Street, police told Patch. Hill also threw poop at the woman as he fled the scene of the attack. At the time of the attack police did not determined whether or not the waste was from a human or animal.
Later that day Hill struck again, approaching a 27-year-old woman from behind and stuffing poop down the back of her shorts, police said. The second attack occurred around 6:15 p.m outside an apartment building on 74th St. near First Avenue. In a video of the incident released by police Hill can be seen tearing off gloves as he flees the scene.
