Upper East Siders Can Sign up for an IDNYC Card at Special Webster Library Pop-Up
The Upper East Side's Webster Library is as a fully staffed pop-up enrollment center for IDNYC cards.
UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Upper East Siders who haven't signed up for an IDNYC will have easy access to do so for the next two weeks. The Webster Library on York Avenue near 78th street will be pulling double duty as a special pop-up enrollment center for IDNYC cards until July 16.
So what are you waiting for?
The Webster Library enrollment center will be open from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays through Thursdays and from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. But before you stroll up to Webster Library you will still need to make an appointment and gather the necessary materials to prove your identity and residency in New York.

Any New Yorker over the age of 14 with the proper documentation can sign up for a card for free until December 31. The card doubles as an ID to get into any city building, including libraries. Cardholders can also sign up for free one-year memberships at a number of museums and other cultural institutions and get discounts for a variety of events such as movies and sporting events. The card remains valid for five years.
