Woman Groped Monday Morning on 6 Train: Police
As the woman was leaving the train at the 68th Street station, a man groped her and then followed her as she left the station.
UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Police are asking the public to help identify a man accused of groping a woman on the subway Monday morning at an Upper East Side station.
Around 9:30 a.m. as a 19-year-old woman was leaving the 6 train at the 68th Street station she was groped by a man who then followed her off the train, police told Patch. The man exited the train and followed the female victim as she went to her school, police said. When the victim noticed the man following her he fled, police said.
Police describe the suspect as a bald man in his 40s about 5-foot-10. He was wearing a blue t-shirt, light colored shorts and a backpack at the time of the attack, police said.
