Woman Groped In Upper East Side Subway Station, Police Say
Police released a sketch Friday of a man wanted for groping a woman who was riding a 4 train through the Upper East Side.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify a man who groped a woman inside an Upper East Side subway station late last month, police told Patch.
A 28-year-old woman was riding a northbound 4 train on Aug. 25 around 11:10 a.m. when a man approached her and grabbed her buttocks, police told Patch. The assault occurred while the train was approaching the East 59th Street and Lexington Avenue subway station, police said.
The suspect fled the train when it stopped at East 59th Street and exited the station in an unknown direction, police told Patch.

The man is in his late 20s with a large build and thin mustache, police told Patch. He was wearing a black t-shirt at the time of the groping, police told Patch. The NYPD released a sketch of the suspect Friday.
