Woman Jumps To Death From Upper East Side Townhouse, Police Say

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A woman jumped to her death Monday morning from a three-story townhouse on a tiny Upper East Side block, an NYPD spokeswoman told Patch.

A 40-year-old woman jumped from 12 Henderson Place — a small block in the area of East 86th Street and East End Avenue — police told Patch. The woman was pronounced dead by EMS around 10:30 a.m., police told Patch.

The New York Post reported that the woman is Lindsay Jacoby, the founder of Wall Street recruiting firm Jacoby Staffing, but the NYPD did not confirm that information with Patch. A Lindsay and Seth Jacoby bought 12 Henderson Place for $3.6 million in 2014, according to public real estate records.

Lindsay and Seth Jacoby married in 2005, according to an announcement in the New York Times.
