Mugger Arrested for Shoving 57-Year-Old Woman to Ground During Upper East Side Purse Snatching: Police
Police arrested a man who robbed a woman at an Upper East Side Panera Bread last week.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A man is facing charges after allegedly dragging a woman out of an Upper East Side Panera Bread last week before shoving her to the ground and stealing her purse.
Ralph Moore, 57, entered a Panera Bread on East 86th Street on Aug. 20 and attempted to grab the purse of a 25-year-old woman waiting for her food, Police told Patch. The woman and the Moore got into a struggle, which resulted in the woman getting dragged out of the restaurant and shoved to the ground, police said.
Moore then grabbed to woman's purse and fled into the subway, police said. The suspect was captured on surveillance film from the Panera Bread.

Moore was arrested Wednesday afternoon and has been charged with robbery and criminal possession of stolen property, police said.
