17-Year-Old Upper West Side Girl Missing Since August: NYPD

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Police are asking for the public’s help finding a 17-year-old Upper West Side girl who was last seen in August.

Amber Bell was last seen at her home on West 63rd Street around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12, according to the NYPD.

Bell is Black, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds, police said. She was last seen wearing a white tank top, gray sweatpants and white sneakers.

Police said anyone with information regarding Bell can call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or on X (formerly Twitter) @NYPDTips.
