2 Sisters Open Vietnamese Restaurant On The Upper West Side

Plum recently opened at 210 West 94th Street, between Broadway and Amsterdam, offering Upper West Siders a new option for Vietnamese food.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A new Vietnamese restaurant just opened its doors on the Upper West Side.

Plum recently welcomed customers for the first time at 210 West 94th Street, between Broadway and Amsterdam.

"We are sisters with a passion for travel and a love for trying new foods wherever we go," reads a quote from Plum's owners on its website. "Having grown to call New York City our second home, we wanted to bring one of our favorite cuisines, Vietnamese, to the community."

Plum offers a homestyle Vietnamese cuisine, including Spring Rolls, Steam Dumplings, Chicken Wings, Kimchi Fries, Vietnamese Crepe, Marinated Sliced Beef, Pho, Sauteed Baukchoy, and more.

The plum is a symbol of femininity, vitality, perseverance, and hope in Asia, according to the restaurant.

"Our dishes are carefully prepared with fresh and healthy ingredients," reads Plum's website. "Our homestyle Vietnamese cuisine provides an enticing array of flavors guaranteed to be enjoyed by all."

If 210 West 94th Street sounds like a familiar address to you, it is because the building also serves as home to the recently opened Taqueria 86.
