4 Dead —​ Including 2 Toddlers —​ In Upper West Side Stabbing: Reports

The deaths appeared to be the result of a possible murder-suicide, according to reports.

NEW YORK — A family of four — including two toddlers — was found fatally stabbed Monday in an Upper West Side apartment, according to reports.

Authorities responded around 3 p.m. to a wellness check in the 300 block of West 86th Street, WABC reported. Officials found a 1-year-old boy, a 3-year-old girl, a 40-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man dead inside, according to NBC New York. WABC characterized the deceased as a mother, a father and their two children.

Both outlets cited law enforcement sources.

Three knives were found at the scene, according to NBC New York, which added the incident appeared to be a possible murder-suicide.
