$45M Townhouse Sale Sets Upper West Side Record: Report
An entity tied to Block.one CEO Brendan Blumer purchased the sprawling West 69th Street property, which had been asking $85 million.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A massive townhouse just off Central Park has sold for $45 million, setting a new residential sales record for the Upper West Side, according to Traded NY.
An entity tied to Brendan Blumer, CEO of blockchain software company Block.one, purchased the 19,600-square-foot single-family property at 48-50 W. 69th St., Traded reported.
The property sits on West 69th Street between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue.

Despite the record-setting sale price, the property traded at a steep discount to its $85 million asking price — roughly 47 percent below the ask.
The buyer was identified as MI 8787, an entity tied to Blumer.
