UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — City officials have ordered a Sweetgreen on Amsterdam Avenue near West 75th Street to close for racking up 39 violations during a health inspection, records show.
The Sweetgreen, located at 311 Amsterdam Ave., was ordered to close on Monday after inspectors reported roaches and improper food safety controls, according to publicly available city records.
The closure comes after the restaurant was cited for 26 violations in May of this year.
