UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A wellness-focused nail salon is preparing to open its first Upper West Side location this fall.

Sundays, a New York City nail-care chain known for combining manicures with meditation and other relaxation treatments, said on Instagram that its new neighborhood studio will open in November.

"There's something special about building a space from the ground up, and we can't wait to share every step of it with you," the company wrote.

The roughly 1,000-square-foot salon will be located inside The Henry, a new luxury condominium building at 211 West 84th St., between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue, according to the building's website.

Traditional and gel manicures are offered at the studio, alongside more unusual treatments, including guided meditation manicures, red-light therapy manicures and eco-paraffin treatments.

In keeping with the wellness theme, the company says its nail polishes are all vegan, cruelty-free and made without 10 chemicals commonly found in conventional polish.

"The Upper West Side is such a community-driven, family-oriented neighborhood, the perfect place for sundays to grow," Founder and CEO Amy Ling Lin said. "As a brand, our goal is to create a warm gathering space for wellness rituals where members of the community can take a moment for themselves while also building authentic social connections amidst the high energy of New York City."

The Upper West Side salon will be Sundays' seventh New York City location, joining studios in SoHo, NoMad, Hudson Yards, the East Village, the Upper East Side and Long Island City.
