UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Boucherie, the lively French brasserie with locations in Midtown and downtown, opened its first Upper West Side location on Friday.
The restaurant has opened on the corner of Columbus Avenue and West 81st Street, in what was previously a Starbucks, across from the American Museum of Natural History.
The new restaurant, with red velvet chairs, white tablecloths, and mahogany walls, follows in the footsteps of its other Manhattan locations in Union Square, the West Village and Midtown, with an extensive menu of classic and modern French dishes for all-day service.
The restaurant also has "an extensive meat program, alongside a curated wine and cocktail program," the website reads.
"Inspired by the carefree spirit and the philosophy of La Belle Époque era, Boucherie Upper West Side brings the timeless charm of a Parisian brasserie to one of Manhattan's most iconic residential neighborhoods," the brand wrote.
The new addition to the neighborhood will be open from 11 a.m. to midnight on weekdays, and open at 10 a.m. on weekends.
The restaurant is located at 444 Columbus Ave.
