Bicyclist Struck, Critically Injured On Upper West Side, Police Say
The bicyclist was hit on Broadway between West 71st and 72nd streets.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A bicyclist was critically injured this week after being struck by a box truck on the Upper West Side, an NYPD spokesman told Patch.
The bicyclist, who was not identified, was travelling on Broadway between West 71st and 72nd streets around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday night when they were hit by the vehicle, an NYPD spokesman said. The truck was heading north on Broadway at the time of the collision, police said.
The bicyclist was taken to St. Luke's hospital in critical but stable condition.

The truck driver stayed on the scene of the collision and was not charged, an NYPD spokesman told Patch.
