Community Board to Discuss Riverside Skatepark Redesign, Again

Community Board 7 will once again discuss the Riverside Skatepark redesign after concerned skaters rallied against the proposed changes.

The main complaint: redesign plans don't carry on the vision of Andy Kessler, the original park's designer and a New York skating legend. Specifically, the new plans don't contain skating elements such as the large vert ramp the current park is known for.
