Giants Fan Robs Upper West Side Bank: Police

A man wearing sunglasses and a Giants sweatshirt robbed a Chase bank Friday on the Upper West Side.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Police are searching for a man who robbed a Chase bank Friday afternoon on the Upper West Side.

The man entered the Chase bank branch on Broadway near West 90th Street and handed a bank teller a note that demanded money, police told Patch. The teller complied, and the man fled the bank in an unknown direction, police said. The robbery occurred around 12:05 p.m., police said.

The suspect was wearing a New York Giants sweatshirt, sunglasses, a winter hat and pink gloves during the robbery, police said. Police described the suspect as a man in his 30s standing around 5-foot-10 with a medium build.
