Human Leg Found In Hudson River, Police Say
Police fished a severed leg out of the Hudson River at West 79th Street, an NYPD spokesman told Patch.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A severed human leg was fished out of the Hudson River Wednesday afternoon near the 79th Street Boat Basin, an NYPD spokesman said.
The leg was pulled from the water around 2 p.m., the spokesman told Patch. Investigators have not been able to match the leg with an identification, police said.
The city medical examiner's office will take over the investigation in hopes to determine an identity and cause of death, an NYPD spokesman told Patch.
