MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS, NY — James Comey, the former director of the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), will hold a teaching position at Columbia University next academic year.
Comey will be the senior research scholar at Columbia Law School and a fellow of the Reuben Mark Initiative for Organization Character and Leadership, the school said in an announcement on Tuesday.
The attorney will teach a new seminar called "Lawyers and Leaders," and serve as one of the leaders of a program which invites executives from government agencies, corporations and top law firms to teach classes at Columbia.
