
UPPER WEST SIDE, NY - Police are trying to identify a suspect in an Upper West Side shooting.
The suspect (pictured above) is accused of approaching a 31-year-old man just after midnight Saturday and firing several shots at the man, police told Patch.
The man suffered a gunshot wound to the left leg, police said. He was treated at St. Luke's hospital for serious injuries, police said.

The shooting occurred in front of an apartment complex on Amsterdam Avenue between West 102nd and 103rd streets, police said.
The suspect fled the scene of the shooting by heading east on West 104th Street, police said. Police said the man was wearing a black baseball cap, a black t-shirt with a mouth and tongue on its chest, black jeans and red sneakers at the time of the shooting.
