Man Dies After Fall From Apthorp Building On Upper West Side

A 47-year-old man died after a fall from the Apthorp condominium building on Broadway between West 78th and 79th streets.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A man is dead after falling from the Apthorp luxury condominium building on Broadway between West 78th and 79th Streets.

The man, an unidentified 47-year-old, landed on a scaffolding in front of the building around 7:25 a.m, police told the Daily News. It is currently unknown whether the man was a resident of the building or not, reported the Daily News.

The man's identity was not released pending family notification.
