Man Fatally Jumps In Front Of Train On Upper West Side, Police Say
Witnesses told officers that they saw the man leap from a platform at the West 66th Street and Broadway subway station.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A man died after jumping in front of a moving train Monday night in an Upper West Side subway station, an NYPD spokesman told Patch.
The 23-year-old man, who has not been identified, leaped in front of a northbound 1 train at the West 66th Street and Broadway subway station around 11:30 p.m., police told Patch. Witnesses told officers that they saw the man jump in front of the train, police said.
The man was transported to Roosevelt Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police told Patch.
