Man Found Dead In Upper West Side Intersection, Police Say

The man was not suffering any visible trauma and the medical examiner will investigate his death.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — The NYPD is investigating the death of a man found in a patch of shrubs near an Upper West Side intersection, police told Patch.

A 67-year-old man was found dead Sunday morning in the intersection of West 84 Street and Broadway, police said. Officers arrived on the scene shortly after 8 a.m. and found the man unconscious and unresponsive with no visible signs of trauma, police told Patch.

The man — who has not been identified — was declared dead on the scene by EMS, police told Patch.

The city Medical Examiner will investigate the case to discover an official cause of death, police said.
