Man Pulls Knife On Equinox Staff For Cigarettes And Keys: Cops
A man that was in an Upper West Side Equinox at 3 a.m. pulled a knife on a worker and ran out with his keys and cigarettes, cops said.

UPPER WEST SIDE, MANHATTAN — A man that was inside an Equinox gym at 3 a.m. pulled a knife on the custodian and robbed him, police said.
The man was inside the Equinox at 2465 Broadway around 2:50 a.m. on Feb. 2, police said. They did not specify how he got into the gym during off hours.
Once he was inside, the man pulled a knife on a 50-year-old employee who was working in the locker room and demanded he hand over his property, police said. The worker gave the man his keys and cigarettes and the suspect ran away, police said.

The employee was not hurt from the incident.
Police released video of the man from a surveillance camera in the locker room and the hallway of the gym.
