Man Shot In Groin In Early Morning Upper West Side Attack: NYPD

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A 29-year-old man got shot in the groin on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, a police spokesperson told Patch.

The shooting took place around 4:30 a.m. Monday on 93rd and Amsterdam.

The victim got transported to St. Luke's Hospital, where he is expected to recover from his injuries, a police spokesperson told Patch.

The 29-year-old man was shot during an attempted robbery, according to ABC 7.

There are no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing.
