Man Shot And Killed In Early Morning Upper West Side Attack

The incident took place Tuesday morning near the corner of West 105th Street and Columbus Avenue, according to police.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A 29-year-old man was shot and killed early Tuesday morning on the Upper West Side, according to police.

The incident took place Tuesday near the corner of West 105th Street and Columbus Avenue around 3 a.m. Police released a video Tuesday (NSFW) of the attack.

A group of three to four people exited a car before firing multiple shots in the same direction. The group then quickly ran back to the car and drove away.

Police arrived to find the 29-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was transported to Mount Sinai Saint Luke's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to the NYPD.

There are no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing.
