Man Slashed With Box Cutter Near Columbus Circle: Police

Police have a suspect in custody for a stabbing that occurred in front of a pharmacy on Ninth Avenue and West 59th Street.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A 54-year-old man was arrested Thursday morning for allegedly slashing another man with a box cutter a block away from Columbus Circle.

Anthony Annuziato, 54, was taken into custody in front of a CVS pharmacy located on Ninth Avenue and West 58th Street around 11 a.m., an NYPD spokeswoman told Patch. Annuziato allegedly stabbed another man in the stomach with a box cutter in front of the pharmacy, police told Patch.

Police were unable to provide information about the victim.
