Morningside Heights Man, 74, Goes Missing, Police Say

MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS, NY — The NYPD is asking the public to help locate a missing Morningside Heights man.

George Bolter, 74, was last seen leaving his apartment building early Monday morning around 3:15, police said. Bolter lives in a building across the street from Columbia University's campus on West 119th Street, police said.

The missing man is described as standing 5-foot-8 and weighing about 175 pounds, police said. He has a thin build, brown hair and was last seen a black jacket, black skull cap, black sweatpants and black sneakers.
