ICYMI: NYPD Releases Photo Of Suspect In Fatal Upper West Side Stabbing
Police want to question this man in connection with a fatal stabbing in front of an Upper West Side restaurant.
UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — The NYPD is asking the public to help identify a man wanted in connection with an Upper West Side stabbing that left a 24-year-old dead.
Police released a photo which shows the man walking down an unknown street. The man has been labeled a suspect in the fatal stabbing of 24-year-old Special Anthony Stewart. Stewart, an Upper West Side resident, was stabbed late Thursday night in front of La Nueva Victoria Restaurant on Broadway and West 95th Street, police told Patch. Stewart was taken to Saint Luke’s Hospital and pronounced dead. He lived on West 103rd Street, a few blocks north of the stabbing, police said.

A manager at La Nueva Victoria told Patch that he knew somebody got stabbed in front of the restaurant but did not witness the crime because the restaurant was busy Thursday night.
No one had been arrested for the killing as of Monday morning, police said.
