Person Struck By Train On Upper West Side, FDNY Says
A person was struck by a train at the West 96th Street and Central Park West subway station.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A person was struck by a train Friday afternoon in an Upper West Side subway station, an FDNY spokesman confirmed with Patch.
First responders arrived at the West 96th Street and Central Park West subway station around 2:45 p.m. and removed a person from underneath a train, an FDNY spokesman said. The person's identity and condition could not be confirmed by officials.
The person was taken to St. Luke's hospital, an FDNY spokesman told Patch.

The MTA confirmed that a person was hit at the station and implemented service changes on B and C trains.

The following service changes were put in place:
- Some northbound A and C trains end at Chambers St.
- Northbound B and C trains are running express from 59 St-Columbus Circle to 125 St.
- Some northbound D trains end at 42 St-Bryant Park.
- These service changes are because of a person struck by a train at 96 St.
- Expect delays in A/B/C/D train service.
