Police Looking For Missing 79-Year-Old Upper West Side Man: NYPD

The man was last seen Sunday leaving his apartment at 340 West 85th Street on the Upper West Side.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Police are asking for the public's help in finding a 79-year-old man last seen leaving his apartment Sunday afternoon at 340 West 85th Street.

The missing man's name is Charles Hill, and police describe him as 5 feet 9 inches tall, 240 pounds, brown eyes, Black, with balding, short gray hair.

Police said he was last seen wearing a beige jacket, khaki pants, black shoes, and uses a cane when he walks.

The 340 West 85th Street address is home to the Valley Lodge, a senior and supportive housing facility that offers low-income housing for older New Yorkers. Valley Lodge also serves older citizens living with serious mental illnesses, homeless individuals, seniors living with disabilities, and grandparents raising their grandchildren.
