Pop-Up Coronavirus Testing Site Opens On The Upper West Side
A testing site will be open at West 96th Street starting Thursday, until next Tuesday, May 26.
UPPER WEST SIDE, MANHATTAN — A new pop-up coronavirus testing site will be open on the Upper West Side starting this week, elected officials announced.
The site, run by SOMOS Community Care, officially opened at 145 West 96th St. on Thursday and will stay open until Tuesday, May 26, according to Assembly Member Daniel O'Donnell.
The testing is done by appointment only and includes coronavirus tests and test for antibodies, which determine whether a person has had coronavirus in the past. Those interested can call 1-833-SOMOS-NY to make an appointment.

The Upper West Side testing site is one of several SOMOS has opened in New York City. Their other sites include a bilingual Washington Heights facility and two drive-through locations in Queens and the Bronx.

Other Upper West Side coronavirus testing sites include GoHealth Urgent Care centers at West 69th Street and West 100th Street and CityMD Urgent Care centers at West 69th Street and West 104th Street.
