Shots Fired On The Upper West Side, Police Say
Police are canvassing the area after a person shot a gun three times on Friday morning.
UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Police are investigating after a person fired three gunshots on the Upper West Side Friday morning, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, police were called to the scene at 8:46 a.m. for gunshots near Central Park West and West 71st Street.
Police said that three people were arguing when the fight turned physical. During the brawl, one person shot three rounds of a gun, police said.

Police said that a person of interest was taken into custody, and that thankfully, no one was injured during the shooting.
