Subway Flasher Slashed After Revealing Himself to Passenger: Police

A 20-year-old man was arrested for stabbing a man who flashed him on a 1 train running through Morningside Heights.

MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS, NY — Police have arrested a man accused of stabbing a fellow passenger on a 1 train in response to being flashed, police told Patch.

Elijah Davidson, 20, was riding a southbound 1 train around 1:30 Friday morning when another passenger revealed his private parts as the train neared the 116th Street–Columbia University station, police said. Davidson apparently did not take kindly to being flashed, and promptly slashed the flasher with a small kitchen knife, police said.

The victim, a 53-year-old man, follow Davidson and called the cops, police told Patch. Davidson was arrested around 1:50 a.m. and has been charged with assault, police said.

The alleged flasher suffered wounds to his forearm, back and head, police said. He was transported to Mt. Sinai St. Luke's Hospital where he was treated for his injuries, which are not life threatening, police said.
