Subway Masturbator Flees D Train at Columbus Circle: Police

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Police are trying to identify a man who exposed himself on the subway, masturbated and then fled the train at an Upper West Side station.

The man (pictured above) sat across from a 30-year-old woman on a southbound D train when he exposed himself, police told Patch. After exposing himself the man then masturbated in front of the woman, police said.

When the train arrived at the 59th Street–Columbus Circle station the man exited the train and fled the station in an unknown direction, police said.

Police described the suspect as a bearded man in his late 20s or early 30s standing 5-foot-8 and weighing around 180 pounds. The man was last seen wearing a black baseball cap and a black hooded jacket, police said.
